We are a group of BSIT students from Bulacan State University who developed this system as part of our Capstone Project. The main objective of our study is to Validate and Characterize the Waste Analysis and Characterization Study (WACS) of MENRO Pandi by applying Linear Models and Time Series Analysis.

Specifically, our project aims to develop and apply linear models and time series analysis in validating MENRO Pandi WACS, apply data mining techniques using the CRISP-DM methodology, employ validation techniques to measure the accuracy and reliability of the models, and develop a web-based dashboard to present the WACS data alongside the applied models for easier comparison and interpretation.

This project was inspired by the initiatives of the Municipal Environment and Natural Resources Office (MENRO) of Pandi, Bulacan. While MENRO serves as the source of real-world data and environmental programs such as solid waste management, recycling, and ecological protection, our system was independently created as an academic work to showcase how technology can enhance data-driven decision-making in waste management.
